Where Young Voices Take the Stage
This summer, I’m excited to launch Kids N Acting — a creative pilot program designed specifically for children entering 1st / 2nd / 3rd grade who love to move, imagine, and express themselves! Rooted in theatre fundamentals and guided by social-emotional learning, this two-week outdoor program invites young artists to explore their creativity in a supportive, play-based environment.
Led by Christopher Baker (BFA Acting, Minor in Education), Kids N Acting blends acting games, storytelling, movement, and mindfulness to help children build confidence, collaboration, and communication skills — all while having fun in the sun.
Summer Spotlight: Improv for Empowerment with FOR-YOUTH
This summer, I’m excited to join the 2025 FOR-YOUTH Summer Program as an improv workshop facilitator! 🎭
FOR-YOUTH is a transformative community initiative aimed at empowering teens (ages 13–19) through the arts, wellness, and entrepreneurial thinking. I’ll be leading two high-energy improv sessions designed to help young people build confidence, collaboration, and creative expression.
Each session will focus on the foundational tools of improv—saying “Yes, and,” making bold choices, and embracing mistakes as part of the creative process—while also exploring deeper themes like emotional resiliency and storytelling as healing. We'll laugh, play, and discover how improv can be a powerful tool for growth and self-discovery.
Whether we're mirroring emotions, creating on-the-spot scenes, or practicing empathy through play, I’m honored to be part of a program that centers healing, joy, and voice for BIPOC youth.
📍 Dates: Summer 2025

I recently had the pleasure of working with Susan Spann of Susan Spann Photography for my latest headshot session. Susan’s creativity and talent are unmatched, and her studio provided a clean and welcoming environment. Her exceptional communication skills made planning the session seamless and efficient.
Our professional connection began during a Matilda Junior production I was chaperoning, and this collaboration truly highlights the power of artists coming together and inspiring one another. Susan’s ability to capture great energy is a testament to her skill and dedication. I highly recommend her for any photography needs.
